Greg Oden Dirty Pictures
If the first overall pick from the 2007 NBA Draft Greg Oden has learned anything from his dirty nude pictures on the Internet, it's that NBA players can be exposed, too.
The possibility that posting Greg Oden nude photos was a publicity stunt aside, it's clear that Greg Oden's dirty pictures of his upper body and privates have become an Internet hit for Greg Oden and the website that posted them World Star Hip Hop.com
While it's too early to see what impact Greg Oden nude pictures are having on World Star Hip Hop, the website already has a healthy Alexa.com traffic ranking of 1,182; the prediction here is it will go up to 900 by Friday.
But NBA players like Greg Oden should be careful who's on the other side of whatever camera is pointed at them. Moreover, if they're in the buff, better not to have a camera pointed at them at all.
In this case, the photos, which Greg Oden apologized for, were taken, by someone said to be a "former girlfriend" which opens a new can of worms. Did he dumper her? Because if that's the case, hell hath no furry because she's certainly put his business into the street.
Literally.
But now that the nude photos are flying around, it's time to watch how it impacts Greg Oden's star power. Does his Internet traffic draw rank go up? For how long? With which demographic?
Stay tuned.

groundhog day 2009
February is not only the month of variable length during leap years but the month containing the midpoint of the winter season, which falls near February 2nd.
February 2nd is variously celebrated as Candlemas Day or, in popular culture since at least the mid-nineteenth century, as Groundhog Day.
Supposedly, if the groundhog comes out of his winter retreat and sees his shadow, the six-week balance of the winter season will be wintry, and he continues his winter's sleep, but if the day is cloudy, it foretells more moderate spring-like weather to come, so he can stay up and be active.
We will hope for a cloudy Groundhog Day followed by many clear nights during the month, as there will be a beautiful sky with several special features for the groundhog, you and I to see and ponder.
Indeed, some objects come into the solar system and pass relatively near the earth without you and I ever seeing them. Such was the case on January 25 when newly discovered asteroid 2009 BD passed within about 400,000 miles of earth (our moon is about 240,000 miles away).
Curiously this space rock, which is only about thirty feet in diameter, appears to be traveling in nearly the same orbit as Earth, so it may continue to be our traveling companion for many months or even longer.
Another visitor to the inner regions of our solar system this month is Comet Lulin, which probably started from the far outer regions of our planetary system long, long ago.
Comet Lulin is moving farther away from the sun but closer to Earth and is expected to reach its maximum brightness on February 23 when it will appear near and just south-southwest of the planet Saturn.
During this month, Saturn is the brightest object in the constellation Leo and it shines with a steadier light than the stars. Binoculars will likely be needed at this time to see the comet and it may look more like a fuzzy star than a comet with a long tail.
Helpful star maps showing the nightly position of the comet in reference to the stars and constellations can be viewed at the following website.
http://www.skyandtelescope.com/observing/highlights/35992534.html
The stars and constellations of February will occupy the same places in your evening sky at 9 p.m. on February 1 as at 8 p.m. on February 15 and at nearly 7 p.m. on February 28. Every 15 nights, the stars and constellations return to the same places about one hour earlier, ignoring the complications of Daylight Saving Time.
The moon, sun and planets move to their individual rhythms. For the hours mentioned above go outside and face a little west of south where you will see Orion; follow the line of his belt down to bright Sirius.
In the northeast, the Big Dipper stands on the end of its handle with the pointer stars of the cup guiding one to Polaris, the North Star.

What Did Jesse Jackson Say ?
Jesse Jackson yesterday issued an extraordinary apology to Barack Obama after the civil rights leader was unwittingly recorded making what he said were "crude" comments about the Democratic presidential candidate's policies. The potential damage to Obama's campaign from Jackson's comments - and the divisions they exposed between him and an older generation of African-American leaders - were underlined by the speed of the clergyman's apology.
In an aside to another guest after a Fox News Channel interview on Sunday, Jackson had said Obama had been talking down to black people and added: "I want to cut his nuts out." Initially, news organisations had hesitated to broadcast the off-air derogatory remarks. CNN's Wolf Blitzer said: "It's so crude we can't repeat it on the air."
Later, Fox television, which had the tape and withheld its broadcast until last night, reported that Jackson "threatened to cut off a certain part of Obama's anatomy". The network played a clip in which Jackson said: "Barack, he's talking down to black people."
But by then, Jackson had already issued a statement lavishly praising Obama's run for the White House. "For any harm or hurt that this hot mic private conversation may have caused, I apologise," Jackson said. "My support for Senator Obama's campaign is wide, deep and unequivocal."
The Obama campaign said it accepted the apology. But Jesse Jackson Jr, a co-chairman of the campaign, said that though he loved his father, "I thoroughly reject and repudiate his ugly rhetoric. He should keep hope alive and any personal attacks and insults to himself."
Clarence Page, a columnist at the Chicago Tribune, wrote that "Jackson, who recalled his remark as, 'The senator is cutting off his you-know-what with black people,' expressed deep regrets."
Jackson, who has known Obama's wife, Michelle, for years, made his remarks in what he thought was an off-air moment during an interview with Fox television. The conversation turned to Obama's recent speeches on morality in which he said African-American men were not living up to their responsibilities as fathers.
In Jackson's view, Obama should have assigned blame to government and public policy for the breakdown of some black families.
The suggestion of a rift between Obama and African-American voters could be very damaging to a candidate who has tried to position himself beyond the racial divide. Obama is still recovering from a controversy over his former pastor, Jeremiah Wright. He is also on the defensive about his shifts in position on a host of issues, including the war in Iraq.
Bloggers have accused him of betrayal, erupting in outrage at his vote yesterday in support of a bill granting legal immunity to telephone companies engaged in wiretapping without court oversight.
Obama denies he has been moving to the centre. "The people who say this apparently haven't been listening to me," he told a meeting in Atlanta.

Virgin Mobile Enters India with Tata Tie-Up
Tata Teleservices Sunday unveiled an agreement to launch services under the Virgin Mobile brand name, aimed at youth in India.
Tata already offers mobile services in the country using CDMA (code division multiple access) technology.
Virgin Mobile is targeting the country's youth, aged between 15 and 30 years, which are estimated to be around 400 million, Virgin Group chairman Richard Branson told reporters in Mumbai.
Virgin Group will not, however, buy into its own network in India as Vodafone has, nor will it operate as an MVNO (mobile virtual network operator). It has a revenue-sharing agreement with Tata for the use of the Virgin Mobile brand. Tata will use its own brand for the mass market and the Virgin brand for the niche youth market.
India added close to 9 million [m] new mobile subscribers in January, taking the total number of wireless subscribers to 242 million, according to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in Delhi.
The country's booming mobile market is attracting multinational mobile services companies to invest in the market. Vodafone Group, for example, last year acquired a majority stake in Hutchison Essar, a large Indian network operator and services provider, that was later renamed as Vodafone Essar.
